Traditions and Quality — La Maree Pays a Visit to Beluga

In spite of everything, this autumn is eventful for us! One of the highlights was the visit from Medi Duss, President of a large gastronomic company La Maree, and his colleagues. We opened up a world of true Astrakhan traditions for our friends, introduced them to the production process, showed them how sturgeons are bred and how gravid fish are selected and ultra-sounded. At our production facility, we gave Medi Duss the opportunity to prepare the most valuable beluga caviar in cooperation with our masters, which was then used by La Maree’s chef to prepare several unique dishes at once! Aren’t these the best ways to ensure the quality of such products?

All the splendour of the De Grisogono jewellery brand and the elegant atmosphere of the Belmond British Pullman cruise train came together in a pleasant journey for connoisseurs of the beautiful. On Christmas Eve, De Grisogono, a jewellery company with an unusual and inspiring history, held a show of jewellery in a luxurious 1920s interior filled with an art deco flair. The tastiest treat of the voyage was Volzhenka caviar, prepared by Beluga’s leading masters using Astrakhan technology.

The World-Renowned Kivach Clinic Recommends Our Products

We were delighted to host Oleg Efremov, Chef of the Kivach wellness clinic, and show the sturgeon farm and production. At the degustation, our guest tasted different types of caviar and fish delicacies, and at a cooking masterclass he prepared dishes from them using his own recipes. After personally immersing himself in our production process, familiarising himself with the exemplary technologies and the quality control laboratory, Oleg Efremov rated our products not only as delicacy, but also as dietary and healthy food. It is now part of Kivach’s patient diet and is available for purchase at the clinic, which places great importance on the nutrition of guests.

Bidding at one of the world’s oldest auction houses. The focus of the collectors’ attention is on works by Russian authors. The Russian culture is in all its glory. How could a pre-bid buffet take place without the main world-famous delicacy? The auction impressions were complemented by Volzhenka — real Russian caviar, which was prepared specially for the guests of the auction by the masters of the Beluga company.

Russian Caviar Dinner 2019

Once a year, on the last weekend of August, the world’s best sommeliers come together to taste some delicious wine. This time, the famous international Magnum Dinner event took place in Moscow. It was organised by our friend and partner Anton Panasenko, an independent wine expert, Russia’s best sommelier in 2003, the first participant in the World Sommelier Championship from Russia and co-author of Tre Bicchieri and Tinto Fino wine collections. For this meeting, each guest took along the wine they thought would best match the traditional Russian delicacy, black caviar. In a blind tasting, connoisseurs of the exquisite beverage determined the most organic combination of wine and our caviar.

A piece of paradise in the Aegean Sea. The ultimate SantAnna club and seasonal Pop Up Bar on the Mykonos Island marked the opening day of a new gastronomic story full of experiences. The centre of attention on this holiday was black caviar prepared by Astrakhan masters and vodka produced by our partners with the same name, Beluga. The chef prepared dishes with caviar for the guests, while the bartender made cocktails with a classic Russian drink. And what we are particularly pleased about is that this meeting brought together our favourite clients from Russia and abroad, with whom we have been working for many years.

London Science Museum to Open an Exhibition — The Last Tsar: Blood and Revolution

The London Science Museum has created a unique exhibition dedicated to Nicholas II of Russia, revealing the seemingly lost mysteries of the royal family. Immersion in Russian history was accompanied by a treat in the form of a traditional Russian delicacy — black caviar Volzhenka — which the Beluga masters prepared specially for the event.
